13:00-18:00 Continue driving to Altay in the afternoon. Upon arrival, proceed to General Mountain and check in at your 4-diamond hotel in Altay to rest.
18:00-21:00 Take the sunset cable car to the top of the mountain for a panoramic view of Altay’s stunning sunset. During sunset, join the Sunset Party and mountain top dance party to experience the lively night atmosphere of northern Xinjiang. The driver will stop at safe parking areas for you to take photos and experience the magnificent beauty of the Northern Xinjiang highway. Suggested sightseeing time: 2 hours.
14:30-15:30 Simple lunch at a town along the Ahe Highway or at the entrance of Hemu Scenic Area.
15:30-20:00 Arrive at Hemu Scenic Area in the afternoon. After completing entry procedures, enter the scenic area. Visit the Hemu Popular Bridge, walk on the bridge and enjoy the primitive scenery on both sides of the Hemu River. Go to the Xiaguang Observation Deck to overlook the panoramic view of Hemu Village and wait for the beautiful moment when the sunset shines on the village. Suggested visiting time: 2.5 hours.
After the tour, check in to a wooden house inside Hemu Scenic Area. At night, you can enjoy the starry sky of Hemu and experience the tranquility of this fairy-tale village.
