Urumqi Tianshan International Airport (URC)
Urumqi Tianshan International Airport is the main aviation gateway for Urumqi and a common starting point for journeys across Xinjiang. A major new terminal entered operation in 2025, so travelers should check the terminal shown on their airline booking rather than relying on older airport guides.
